Contemporary Addition

This addition mixes the vernacular characteristics of its neighborhood and adds a contemporary twist.  The scope of this project includes a master bedroom, bathroom, and dressing area as well as a yoga studio.  The overall design needed to be consistent with the existing home while providing large window area in the studio space.  Capturing views to the adjacent woods was also an important component of the overall design.
