Oak Island Beach House

This was the first home design that Steven Joseph Design has done in a coastal region.  Although this is a piling constructed house, the floodplain was low enough to allow the house to sit relatively close to the ground.  The client had very specific requirements for capturing views. Site location and design needed to mesh with those needs.  The final design creates open, light-filled living spaces with room for large gatherings.  A large curved rear deck affords easy access to the yard and dock.
